Confusing?

A few moments ago, a guest stopped by saying that she didn't understand the plot. She didn't get why the Pokemon are humans in the first place. And quite frankly, I don't know why either. The town was founded by humans, and they died off slowly. Soon, the Pokemon were the only ones in the town, and they didn't want people knowing the founders had died. So they took on human forms, not wanting others to know about that either. ...Is that confusing? Maybe I just didn't make it clear in the plot... well, it's not in the plot at all. Post your opinion here, please.

The plot is brilliant, but it is confusing. There are a lot of things you need to set straight... perhaps you could make the plot sidebar a little shorter and more condensed, only stating what you need to know, (with better wording v-v') and then at the end of the description, there could be a link to a full plot board, including a detailed history of FSF's first settlers and their interactions with our pokemon. Sort of a 'short story' format, you know? We could have some of the admins get together and co-write it, or we could do it in a timeline format.
Another detail you're missing is why the pokemon can become humans. Try coming up with a history (How this power came about) and scientific explanation. (Do they actually shift species, or is it a solid illusion?)

However, that's, in my opinion, the best way of doing it. Other, less strenuous methods would work almost as well.

It's been a long time since I've done a project like this, it'll be fun ^^
